Gates open on Friday to allow those camping to set up.

The scrutineer’s office opens at 7:30am.

Compulsory riders briefing is at 8:40am.

The track is open from 9:00am – 4:00pm with a 45 minute lunch break.

While you can rock up on the day and pay, pre-booking guarantees you a spot and speeds up your sign in process. You will also be allocated a garage for the day. If you wish to be next to a mate, please let the race secretary know (insert email here).

All bookings can be made through RIDERNET.

Upon arrival at the track you will need to head to the scrutineer’s office to sign in. The office opens at 7:30 am. Here, you will fill out appropriate paperwork, be allocated to your group receive and receive your garage allocation. You can also ask any questions you may have.

After signing in you will need to bring you bike to the scrutineers shed to be SCRUTINEERED.

Riders Briefing

There is a compulsory rider’s briefing at 8:40. All riders need to attend, no matter how many times you may have heard it!

First Timers

Any riders who are here for the first time (or even if you haven’t been or a while) will get a few laps behind a club rider to familiarise themselves with the layout of the track, the lights, and the entry and exit points.

Graded Groups

While these can sometimes depend on the number of riders on the day, we generally use the following groups:

EXPERT/FAST GROUP – for experienced racers and fast regular ride day riders

NON-EXPERT/MEDIUM GROUP: for racers, regular ride day riders, fast road riders

NOVICE/NEW RIDERS – for those new to riding on the track

LIMITED – for riders of singles, twins up to 750cc, and historic machinery

JUNIOR: – for riders 9 – 16 years old, up to 150cc*

SIDECARS – for all the mad men and women out there (but you are always welcome!)

* The rules regarding junior riders can be complicated. Please contact the race secretary (EMAIL LINK TO COME) before you book if you have not been to Mac Park before

As the day progresses you can move between groups if required..

As safety is our main concern (along with fun of course) we also monitor groups and may ask you to change groups if it is deemed there may be a safety risk.
